This was the 15th year Joe and Debbie Sakic have dedicated their time and efforts to fighting childhood hunger in Colorado through FBR. And it was our most successful year to date. On August 23, golfers united at stunningly beautiful Sanctuary for a picture perfect day on the course. The weather was mild with just the right amount of cloud cover and lucky for us, temperature decided to start dropping just as we moved inside for dinner and awards. The folks at Sanctuary stepped up once again and facilitated a first class event for our dedicated supporters.
Colorado Avalanche, Paul Stastny, is a generous supporter of our event. We're so grateful to have him on board!
The Aurora Medical Center ladies have become like family to us. In addition to donating to us in many capacities, they also spent the day volunteering on the course.
What would we do without our friends at Fineline? (Scott is the happy guy pictured above.)
Our exclusive television sponsor, FOX 31 and Colorado's Own Channel 2 sent a rather lively foursome to the event. We're pretty sure they had a good time.
Our new friend, Kate, was with us that day too. It was her first FBR event.
On Friday, August 24, nearly 450 guest joined us for the Joe and Debbie Sakic Bringing Hope to the Table Celebration at the Marriott DTC. It was a fabulous night of food, libations, auction activities and entertainment.
Nearly one million meals will be provided to Colorado kids as a result of this annual 2 day event. We look forward to this fundraiser every year and count ourselves incredibly fortunate to be partnered with the Sakics and presenting sponsors like CoBank and RBC Wealth Management. Special thanks to all our 2012 event sponsors, guests, volunteers and committee members for doing your part in making this yet another outstanding year of fighting childhood hunger in Colorado.

We were thrilled to welcome uber talented Miss Hazel Miller and Jake Schroeder as entertainment during dinner. Simply sensational.
Craig Shoemaker joined us as post-dinner entertainment.
