For More Hunger Bytes...
There's a lot that goes into our world of fighting hunger and feeding hope. We couldn't have distributed near 36 million pounds of food last year without the thousands of people who donate time, funds, food and event organization on our behalf.
Throughout the year, there's a continuous schedule of events, promotions, food drives etc. that happen around our service area. The dedication and hard work that happens behind the scenes often goes overlooked. As do the faces of hunger - those who you come across every day who silently suffer and wonder where their next meal will come from.
Thus the origination of this FBR blog...we want to highlight stories of your neighbors who utilize the services of our nearly 1,000 hunger relief partner agencies. We also want to highlight the activies that you might not hear about otherwise and give you sneak peaks into the FBR world!
