Ameristar Providing Hope for Denver Seniors

Seniors are often a population overlooked, but in great need. FBR distributes Senior Totes of Hope™ to 5 sites, providing 376 seniors totes filled with nutritious food these seniors couldn’t otherwise afford. Ameristar Casino Resort Spa recently provided funding to add 50 seniors at Redeemed Ones Ministry to our distribution list. Heather with Ameristar was present at the kick-off on September 21 to visit with the seniors benefiting from this new program.

“We’re very proud of our partnership with FBR. We donate more than 500 pounds of fresh food per week to help support Food Bank’s “Denver’s Table- Food Rescue” program, feeding the less fortunate across Colorado and we’re thrilled to be able to fund two Senior Totes of Hope™ through FBR. Giving back to the community is part of our Ameristar values and corporate philosophy,” said General Manager Reggie Fullwood.
